Rehoboth Beach Country Club: Course Intelligence
Rehoboth Beach Country Club operates on a piece of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Atlantic coastal land along the southern Delaware coast. The course was designed during the early Delaware coastal country-club expansion and has been redesigned multiple times since with continuing agronomic-and-architectural updates. The Rehoboth Beach setting — the Atlantic Ocean is two miles east, and the broader Cape Henlopen State Park is nearby — gives the property a distinct coastal character within the Delmarva Peninsula golf landscape.
The course plays around 6,600 yards par 72 from the back markers, with bent fairways and a slope in the upper 130s. The yardage is short by modern championship standards, but the routing's coastal-plain terrain and the Atlantic-influenced marine breeze give the course defense that the back-tee yardage doesn't account for. The fairways play firm given the southern Delaware coastal sandy subsoil. The mature deciduous canopy through the property gives the routing its parkland character.
Rehoboth Beach Country Club is private and access is members and accompanied guests only. The membership is regional southern Delaware and Washington DC-area business and seasonal-residence families. The hospitality model is built around the Rehoboth Beach summer-resort context, and the course operates with peak member-day usage through May to September.
Delaware Atlantic coastal climate gives Rehoboth Beach Country Club a playing season of April through November, with the firmest conditions in September and October. The Atlantic-influenced marine breeze gives the property reliable daily wind. The course closes through brief winter cold snaps. The mature canopy gives the routing visual signature consistent with the broader Delmarva Peninsula coastal-pine landscape.
