The Apache course at Desert Mountain was the first of six Jack Nicklaus-designed courses at the community, carved through the Sonoran Desert landscape at the base of the Continental Mountains. The design integrates native desert terrain with dramatic elevation changes and expansive views of the surrounding desert.

Signature Holes

Hole 4 (Par 3, 195 yards): A desert par 3 that plays across a rocky wash to an elevated green with panoramic views of the Sonoran Desert. The desert floor below and the surrounding saguaro cacti create a dramatic setting.

Hole 17 (Par 4, 430 yards): A challenging par 4 that plays along the base of the Continental Mountains with a demanding approach to a green framed by desert rock formations and native vegetation.
