Located in the stunning desert landscape of Arizona, Quintero Golf Club offers golfers an exquisite blend of natural beauty and challenging play. This par-72 course features a desert layout that weaves through rugged terrain, showcasing the unique flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert. Expect dramatic elevation changes, breathtaking mountain views, and strategically placed bunkers that test your skills and strategy. The atmosphere here is that of a hidden gem, where you can enjoy a serene golfing experience away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy locales.
Local "Insider" Tips
- Pay attention to the elevation changes; shots may require adjustments in club selection.
- Greens tend to break towards the nearby mountains, so read your putts accordingly.
- Be mindful of the afternoon winds that can catch you off guard, especially on the back nine.
Caddie's Bag Check (Weather & Gear)
Quintero Golf Club is known for its warm, sunny weather typical of the Arizona desert. With temperatures often soaring into the 90s during peak season, it's crucial to stay cool and protected. Since the sun can be relentless, I highly recommend bringing along UV sleeves to shield your arms from those harsh rays while you swing away. Staying hydrated and protected will ensure you enjoy every moment of your round!
Course Heritage & Design
Designed by Rees Jones and established in 2000 as a Public facility.
A stunning desert layout carved through the Sonoran Desert foothills northwest of Phoenix.
